Expanding Fully Driverless Autonomous Trucking Operations
“I’m honored to receive this award during a time of momentous change and meaningful impact for the autonomous trucking sector,” said Gautam Narang, CEO and co-founder of Gatik.

Major 2021 Milestones in Autonomous Trucking
Gatik achieved several significant milestones in 2021.In August, the company announced an $85 million funding round. Koch Disruptive Technologies (KDT) led the round. During the same period, Gatik expanded operations into Texas with new customers. In February, Gatik launched its industry-first electric autonomous box trucks. The company deployed them in partnership with Walmart at a second site in Louisiana. In April, Gatik announced a partnership with Isuzu. This collaboration implemented OEM-grade redundancies for medium-duty trucks. These redundancies are critical for fully autonomous operations. Gatik remains the only company in North America offering Class 3–6 autonomous box trucks. The company deploys these vehicles for Fortune 500 customers. It generates revenue with every order.
